Maidenform Womens Dream Front Close Lace T-Back Bralette ReviewI've always had the same trouble with bras: the straps would always slide down my shoulders. This was probably due to wearing the wrong size (my bra size fluctuated a lot during my teenage years), but also from my sloping shoulders and naturally off-kilter posture.
Needless to say, I finally got fed up with regular bras never fitting, so I switched to sports bra. They fit me well, but flattened my already somewhat small chest and gave me the unflattering "uniboob" look. After nearly four years of having no figure, I decided to try regular bras again. I got a fitting and discovered that my true size is a 32 C. The saleswoman that fitted me advised that I wear a racerback bra so I wouldn't have to deal with the slipping straps. Well, 32 C is already a rather uncommon bra size, and I couldn't find ANY racerbacks in a 32 C.
Recently, I discovered this bra at the store where I work. I decided to try it; I tried a small and a medium (the medium is said to fit a 34 B, my alternate size). To my pleasant surprise, the medium fit me perfectly! The bra itself feels comfortable-no digging straps. The bra is lightly padded, and gives a slight lift-no as much as a push-up, but enough to prevent a sagging or flattened look. The only part I was skeptical of is the plastic front-close clasp; it looked like it was cheaply-made. However, it's held up fine so far. Yes, I'm writing a review that's probably too long for a bra (and no, I'm NOT being paid to endorse this). This is the first bra EVER that has given me a nice figure and fit me well. I have no complaints whatsoever.
On my end note, yes, the sizing is weird. Try on a couple different sizes to see which one will fit you best. I thought a small would be my fit, and it was too small. Woman Within Plus Size Wirefree Cotton Leisure/Sleeping Bra by Comfort Choice ReviewThis is definitely a leisure bra, but it give a surprising amount of support and separation for the D and multiple D cups. The separation is fantastic. Definitely, no uniboobs. I'm the person who wouldn't be caught, in public, without wearing a bra. The support is enough that I feel comfortable walking my dog, answering the doorbell, having friends over, or shopping at my neighborhood stores while wearing. I wouldn't wear to work or for dress up.
The bra is very comfortable. I don't sleep in bras, but this is comfortable enough to do so. The straps are not adjustable, so there's no metal, plastic, or binding of any kind in this bra. The outer edges of the strap are slightly padded. This adds to the comfort and causes the straps to lie flat....absolutely, no curling or bunching. My breast are heavy and the straps don't dig or bind into my shoulders, The cups are unlined, soft cotton. The strap are cotton with spandex. The band is soft. The cups are full coverage. This bras does have a back hook closure, but that's very comfortable, too.
This is the next best thing to wearing no bra. It feels like you're not wearing a bra, but give enough support that you'll feel comfortable, with no self conciousness, in your casual activities. Playtex Women's Secrets Super Soft Shaping Underwire ReviewI ordered this bra in desperation. The last time I bought bras I had 4 custom-made and they have been the most uncomfortable, ill-fitting least flattering things I ever wasted money on at Dillard's. So I was watching The View and these bras were shown and modeled, then I saw them on Oprah. Quite a fanfare for an inexpensive Playtex bra, but I thought they couldn't be worse than my expensive torture undwire bras.
The moment I put this bra on I knew it would work. After I wore it for a day I have decided to change religions and worship at the drawer of the bra. It has given my wrong-side-of-50 shape some definition again, I never felt the wire and the straps are uber comfortable. They take some taming to lie flat (I blame in on the moisturizer I slather with after showering). The side straps are wide enough that I don't feel as though flab is hanging out which has been my experience even though I'm not particularly flabby.
The bra seems to be very well made, the material is soft and fluffly-ish. No scratchys. I like the material the cups are formed with because there is no nipple show and the support is amazing. I am hand-washing it because I don't want to chance messing it up before I get more, but I think it would probably machine wash well.
You cannot beat the price of this bra - so I just ordered 3 more. Motherhood Maternity: Sports Clip Down Nursing Bra ReviewI am very pleased with this bra. I purchased a white one and a black one with the intention of using them during workouts. However, I now use them for everyday wear and night wear, as well. The support is amazing, without being uncomfortable. I do not feel like it is bulky. The bra is lined so that it is probably about 1/4 of an inch to 3/8 of an inch thick. This means it is not thin, but it's not like it is majorly padded either. I personally like the thickness, because I do not have to wear a nursing pad with this bra (although, I do not have problems with leakage), whereas I've had to wear nursing pads with my other nursing bras simply because I don't want to 'show' when I'm cold (not a problem with this bra!). Because it is primarily a sports bra, it has more form to it which means it doesn't lay flat on its own when one side is opened for nursing, but this doesn't bother me. It's soft enough for baby's head to hold the flap down, or if I'm at home, I'll just unhook both sides and then the whole front pannel will lie down nicely (remember it is a sports bra). The back is what I would call racerback, which helps keep things held in place during a workout. My only complaint is that all their models have these super skinny women with superior abs. I'm not too shabby, but for heaven's sake...if I'm nursing a baby, it's because I have recently HAD a baby! Oh, well, I'll keep working to get mine back (in my 'spare' time, lol!). ;)

Motherhood Maternity: Wrap Nursing Sleep Bra ReviewI'm nursing my 3rd daughter whose almost 7 months old, and I've gone all of those months without a nursing bra mainly because this last baby I haven't had alot of money, and nursing bras are somewhat of hype since I'm used to pulling down the cup of any bra I'm wearing to nurse, even if it has clips.
Don't get me wrong. I'd love to go nursing bra shopping and get a whole collection, but like I said I can't afford it really.
With my first long term nursing experience which lasted over a year, I bought a comfy stretchy cotton walmart bra with clips and this sleep bra. I loved the way my boobs looked and were supported in the walmart bra but I never used the clips, and when my breasts leaked there was nwhere for the liquid to go, same as with the sleep bra. I had nursing pads but they were thick noticable, (pretty much just as annoying as leaks) Even at night, I think nursing pads are annoying but useful.
As far as this bra goes, when I was nursing my 2nd daughter, I felt it was comfortable, and really easy to pull down to nurse and lightly supportive and it was great and it lasted about a year before it got really thin and worn. So I do reccomended it.
But the other day I was close to motherhood maternity, and I decided I really wanted a comfy bra again, and I got Motherhood Maternity's Padded Seamless bra which was 22 dollars plus tax and it's the most comfortable bra I've ever worn, nursing or not. It's super supportive, has no clips, it separates your breasts while sleeping. It's awesome, and it also protects against leaks.Motherhood Maternity: Wrap Nursing Sleep Bra Overview

Avani Women's Cami Bra ReviewThis organic cotton/spandex bra definitely compresses your breasts to hold them in place. I tend to prefer sports bras with molded cups so I don't look flat as a board. As long as your expectations are in line, it's all ok. The bra is a little low cut in front for a sport bra, so when I bent over and then stood back up, I sometimes found that my boobs were coming out the top.
