The spare parts make it so much easier! I don't have to wait for them to dry or use a paper towel to dry the parts. These are identical to the ones that come with the freestyle Medela pump. If you have a Medela Freestyle breast pump and you need extra breastshield membranes this is the kit to get. Basically, this kit includes the acessories you need on the bottle. You put this toghether and crew it on the bottle. To make a functional assembly you still need 2 things that are not included: - bottle - breast shield - this is a separate item and it comes in different sizes. The ones that come with the pump are Softfit 24mm - model# 67246. By buying this kit and extra breastshields and bottles you can have multiple assemblies available if needed (work, home, etc...) They work really well but they are a pain to clean you have to have at least 2 sets to save you from cleaning all day long.
